New Haven Abacoa

Regarded as the greenest neighborhood in Abacoa, New Haven is an established community whose narrow streets are lined with magnolia, live oak, holly and maples trees and whose yards don dazzling red, purple and white impatiens. As the first of 16 communities built within the master development, New Haven homes benefit from the mature trees, landscape, and classic charm.

The first 100 homes of Abacoa, which were constructed by DiVosta Home builders, were completed in 1998. Today, the 114-acre community of New Haven contains 100, three-bedroom townhouses and 405 three to five bedroom single-family homes. On average, the size of the townhouses measure around 1,400 to more than 1,800 square feet including a 2-car garage. The dimensions of single-family homes are approximately 1,300 to 3,500 square feet and feature a 400 square foot private patio.

New Haven is divided into sections by two parcels of land. Each section has its own swimming pool, clubhouse and playground. Homeowners Association fees for New Haven covers common area maintenance and basic cable television for both townhouses and single family homes. Amenities include two swimming pools, two clubhouses and two playgrounds. Although the homes share similar interior floor plans, the varying exterior gives each home its own character and charm. Residents appreciate the close proximity to restaurants, specialty shops, entertainment, and Jupiter’s A-rated schools: Beacon Cove Primary, Lighthouse Elementary, Independence Middle, and Dwyer High School. Abacoa Florida is a 2,055-acre development featuring urban style living with the idea of mixed-use neighborhoods connected by bike paths and greenways. It has 260-acre preserve wetlands running throughout Abacoa and New Haven’s backyard.
